2025 Edisto Beach Road Race: 5k and 1M Walk/Run

This past weekend, Edisto kicked off the season of gratitude with the 14th Annual Edisto Beach Road Race — and what a beautiful morning it was to run! Under crisp fall skies and cool, comfortable temperatures, runners and walkers filled the course with energy, laughter, and plenty of Thanksgiving spirit. From turkey hats and pilgrim costumes to festive fall colors, participants showed up in their best holiday-themed outfits, making the race as fun to watch as it was to join. It was another unforgettable day of community, celebration, and Edisto charm.
Special thanks to this year’s sponsors: Davis Architecture, Food Lion, Carolina One Vacation Rentals, Club Wyndham, and Andy Cook CPA.

And of course, no Edisto race morning would be complete without a little extra sparkle at the finish line — a free mimosa bar sponsored by Andy Cook CPA for all the runners! Because nothing says, “You did it!” quite like some bubbly at 9 a.m. Finishers happily swapped race times for toast times, proving once again that the true sprint of the day is the one from the finish line to the orange juice. It was the perfect way to celebrate miles well run… and to remind everyone that on Edisto, we know how to mix fitness and fun.

Awards were given to the top finishers in each age group, as well as a first through third place award for the overall finishes. We also gave out two spirit awards for best dressed, too!
