Results from the Week: Shop Local Week was completed, we had 300 receipts submitted from 36 businesses, totaling $19,276 in purchases.
Shop Local Week in Edisto will be held from Saturday, December 12 through Saturday, December 19, 2020. Shoppers will be rewarded as they get out and shop retail, dine (or get takeout) at restaurants, or experience Edisto (tours and charters) with specials throughout the week and prize giveaways.

While doing all of your shopping from the comfort of your own home might sound tempting, nothing compares to all the feels you get when you support your community. Whether you live here or just visit as often as possible, there is one undeniable trait that everyone shares: a Love of Edisto. Although no one but Mother Nature can take credit for the natural allure of the Island, the local business owners contribute in every other way to making Edisto what it is, and what you love.

Get rewarded when you shop local this week in Edisto! As an added bonus to the good feels from supporting your community and the discounts/specials offered (see below!), six (6) $100 gift certificates to local businesses will be given out. There will also be a chance to win two (2) local gift baskets, currently valued at over $500 each! The gift baskets includes items from The Happie Truck, The Plantation Course at Edisto, With These Hands Gallery, The Joggle Factory, Green Boat Discount Liquors, Edisto Resort Wear, Sabal & Oak, Edisto Surf Shop, My Native Dreams, Ella & Ollies, Briny Swine, Edistonian Gift Shop and Surf & Turf Beachwear, Pressley’s at the Marina, The Waterfront Restaurant, King’s Market , The Marina at Edisto Beach, and Revel.
To be eligible to win, you have to shop at a local retail, restaurant, or tour/charter business during Shop Local Week and make a minimum purchase of $10. You will have to send a picture of your receipt. Businesses where you shop will have a QR code you can scan for the entry form or you can email it to info@edistochamber.com to enter. There is no limit to the number of entries you can have; the more times you shop, the more chances you have to win!

Safety Precautions
The pandemic is still here, but we are all reaching for a huge cup of holiday cheer to take the edge off this season. Mask requirements are still in place and shop owners are taking necessary precautions to ensure your safety while you shop this holiday season. Even though this time of year already brings fewer crowds to Edisto, Shop Local will span an entire week to make shoppers more comfortable with ample time to get out and spend a little money.
